The belt is right from Home Depot. It is a one size fits all (I'm a 44), and ran $12.99. Made by McGuire-Nicholas, model #DM-605-CC Oil Saddle.

Those are nice pics. My first kilt was a Caramel U.K Workmans! Heres the Twilightzone part-I wear the same belt, from Home Depot with mine.
The Workmans U.K was what got me into kilts. I saw one at a renn fair and looked them up online. The rest is history.

Brian, great looking kilt! You have made me re-evaluate my belt selection! I just purchased a similar belt that is reversible from black to brown, but was not sure I liked it (a totally differnet style from what I wore with p#$%s). Looking at your pics, I think that I have changed my mind and will keep it (was going to return it to Wal-mart).

Very similar to a belt I bought at Menards. Same maker, 90605. 3 inch oil tanned with 2 prong roller buckle. Got mine for $7 and change as I recall on sale. I like those tool belts. ;-)

Nice belt (I thought that I would join the bandwagon). They do hold up to the name, and especially when you are going to places like Home Depot. Every time I wear mine nothing but positives. Gotta love it.
Now after cutting up those peppers, what did you do with them? Did you cut up enough to share with almost 1000 of your closest and kilted friends?

Spooky Southern Breeze,
That's exactly what happened to me. Saw a caramel workman's at the Arizona Ren Faire, looked them up on line, and activated a new addiction.
Something's working...don't think there'd be the fashion boom in contemporary kilts without the big back pocket logo for us to read and goggle for.

I tried several belts with the Workman’s, but the kilt is so rugged looking that they just did not do it justice. I wore the kilt once to a local Tractor Supply and one of the guys there asked me if it were a Carhart Kilt! That got me to thinking that I needed a rugged belt to match the character of this type of kilt, and when I came across this belt I jumped on it.
What is nice is that the Workman’s has nice 3-inch belt loops, so it really took this type of belt well. I always get compliments on it and have never have a hard time explaining the masculinity of the kilt when wearing it with this belt. Of course being 6 foot and 240 lbs doesn't hurt either :-)
Thanks for all the compliments guys ...

I get that Carhardt kilt comment a lot in this part of the world. I just smile and say yes. That gets them to wondering.
Early on, I was lucky to find the plain masculine looking belts that Mike sells at AmeriKilts. Solid value. Brown and black. Call your size. They are perfect for my UKs.
