My focus has always been on value. Learned that from my father. No point in spending money on a cheap kilt that I'm embarrassed to wear in public, or on poorly made kilts.

The value is solid with a hand sewn traditional kilt. I believe someone like Kathy who takes the time to follow her passion and go to Scotland to learn the old ways, then bring them back here and prove her craftsmanship year after year after year is a valuable asset for those of us addicted to kilts.

One of the joys of this board is to be able to share information on vendors. Great vendors like Kathy Lare deserve praise and reccomendation as much as shoddy products and poor customer service deserve a warning be shared.

If you love kilts, I can't think of a more solid investment than a hand sewn traditional kilt that will last a lifetime.
