First snow
Wondering when it really starts snowing... But here's our first real snow this winter!
Notice the traditional Finnish knife "puukko" on my belt. Fits really nice with a kilt

Wonderful shot! That jacket/kilt/hat combo looks great. Got my first look at some white stuff tonight. Nothing on the ground but there was a very very faint amount blowing through the air as I was at work.

That's the most snow we get in my area on a regular basis. Sure, there's the occassional storm where it will drop 20 or more inches, but usually it's just a few. Some snow is in our forecast right now, unless they have changed their mind.

The photo is a wonderful shot! Your kilt looks great.
Living in the southeast of the USA we get very little snow.
If they even call for snow in the forecast the grocery stores sell out of
bread, milk, and beer.
When we actually get some snow the place shuts down.
Schools and Most businesses close. I know for you folks that get a good
deal of snow this sounds crazy but it is just a fact of life in this area.

Nice pic and the jacket and tartan do look great together.
Got about 2" on the ground here. Our first good dusting this year. Looks like it will stick for a while as lows are in the single digits for the next few days with highs just barely in the 20's (F).

Great picture. Kilt looks super against the snow. Love that sporran, and the knife added a nice touch.
24 F and overcast with a windchill of 17 F here in mid-Missouri, but still no white stuff. Winters here really vary. I've seen as much as 18" of snow on the ground, and winters were we have very little snow. They say here that if you don't like the weather, stay a day or two because it will change. Even hand a day in January two years ago where the temperature jumped up to 65 F, and played golf.

Bought it from eBay. Not real leather but I like it very much. Here's a link to the seller:

Hey, and you all can buy a puukko of your own when you come to kilt meeting in Finland. Our starting meeting of kilt association moved to after christmas because all the hurry, but still going strong. And probably assembling a meeting around summer 2007.
I am going to order a designed puukko for the association when we get it up and running... One with a belt look that fits a kilt belt... now I have to use a patent of my own
