Okay thanks, just looked like it was there solid...forgot, the belt loops on that kilt aren't like on the UK's I wear for knocking around...belt loops would lock it in position.

This is a little fancier than most, but is representitive of most puukka sheath designs I've seen. They are usually dangling loosely, so you could even turn it sideways if you needed to.

Yeah, that is made by Fiskars, Iolaus. Here's picture of my personal puukko which is made by Marttiini. It's Lapin Leuku model. I am going to order one with a sheaths belt loop big enough to fit kilt belt.

One thing neater than seeing a man in a kilt is seeing a man in a kilt with the snow drapped over the boughs of the trees. Beautiful shot Ackwell glad that you shared.

I thought that sheath looked like a Fiskars. I have one of their fillet knives in my tackle box. Very sharp, holds an edge very nicely.
Great pic. It looks like you could be in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Of course, you'd fit right in up here in the UP, as we have quite a large Finnish population, with plenty of people with names like Ollala, Heikkila, Liubakka, Helppi, Koski, etc. In fact, they just had the Grand Finn Fest here in Marquette this past summer.
Anyway, great pic!
