    Hi,

A mate and I (he's a Scot, I'm Welsh) wore our kilts while skiing. It's not as cold as you'd expect, wouldn't recommend going regimental - just in case you take a tumble. Its going up on the lift that gets you.

    Dafydd

    A cilted Welshman.

This is something I've been planning for a bit myself, although I'm a cross-country skier. Someone said it earlier, and I'm sure he's right.....the ride up the lift would probably be the worst of it!

Kilt on brother. Once my 16oz highland granite tank arrives, I'll be taking it up to the Frisco Nordic center for some quality time on the trails.

You want a cold wind up your kilt, try going downhill out-of-control and way too fast in a wheel chair while kilted!

Thank God for my sporran or everyone would have gotten quite a show.

Talk about cold. Thankfully the ice ended and I was able to get the brakes on my chair to work before I hit anything.

While I love winter, it sucks to be physically challenged at this time of year. Either I slip and fall when walking with a cane or I get one cold keester in my wheelchair.
