Toward the end of that thread a few kilt wearing guys posted up and tried to educate the others. Not too many negative posts after the former employee of Utilikilts started posting. Then, there was another guy, with only 1 post, who had quite a lot to say about how to wear a kilt.
But, I do chuckle at those types of guys over there. I know guys like that, who spend more time in front of their closets trying to decide what to wear and how to wear it, than most women do. I can't see spending more than $12 for a t-shirt, myself, and Levi Strauss is the only "designer" of blue jeans that I'm interested in.

Well, I was never really worried about being fashion conscious, but I certainly would not take advice or pay attention to any forum with the following post:
You have to be more specific. There are two kinds of kilts. One that the Irish wears and one that Goths/Trannys wear. If you are Irish and want to show your pride (maybe in a parade?) then wear it. (green)
If you're going to a goth club or hanging out in a cool nightspot somewhere in a downtown area. Then you can wear a red kilt.
Talk about clueless about anything related to a kilt.

Ahh, to be young and clueless and wearing the same boring overpriced crap as everyone else who prays to "Oh My Lord & Taylor"

I expect they're a good bit like most of the Western World: some fearful, some knowledgeable, most simply unaware. Fortunately, since I don't wear a kilt to please anyone but myself, I see no reason to change my ways because some one is displeased.

There was one fellow kind enough to inform everyone that you can buy kilts at the GAP... perhaps a sign of blurred vision or gender disorientation.:-?

Here, here Bryan, you are not a slave at all, but a master of fashion! As evidenced by my recent purchase from you! And besides, unless you are required to be the "sex" slave to an adoring audience (and like that role), why should you care what the rest of the world thinks?
Rob... wishing to be somebody's sex slave...
Uhh, did I say that out loud???

Well, I hope they like the giant economy sized, rebellious, slightly overweight, over 30 sex slave! If they want the young stud, 28" waist line, never talk back sex slave, I am NOT the right person...
And to keep it on topic (or at least relevant to your post), if I ever buy a leather kilt it will be a saffron kilt from Robert (RKilts!). I think that his saffron kilt it gorgeous, and his craftmanship exquisite.
