More Kilts Than I Thought
I surprised myself today. And sat down and counted how many kilts I have. To date, I have 14 kilts, and one more ordered. Now that includes two "historical" kilts (a great kilt and a philabeg), but seem slike a lot. Especially since I bought my first kilt for Tartan Day this year. And I'm not a full time kilt wearer. I can officially say I have an addiction.
I've also found that I have four kilts that I just do not wear, mainly because they are a little too big. I suppose I should write them up on here and see if anyone would like to buy them. I hate for them to be going to waste.

And I have less than I want!
Dave, post them and their sizes! Might get you a little Xmas bonus you can use to buy yourself another one you will wear more often.
Rob.. not that I NEED another kilt..

Wow already a good Kilt Kollection. I certainly hope that you are storing them well.
With the 4 that you do not wear much, you do have several options:
1. Put them up for sale (as was already mentioned)
2. Put them into retirement (much like retiring the number of a pro player)
3. Hang on to them for further expansion (may not be good for your health)

Yup. I just got a 40" SWK instead of the 38" (which I can just let out to fit me ) in the hopes that I'll have to move the straps in soon, but recognizing that I may not! ...and I'm glad I kept the 39" UK when I dropped down to a loose 37", because now it's the only thing that still fits!
At the same time, I'm keeping the 36" & 37" in hopes that I'll drop the weight again. ;-)

I can happily say that I'll have to move the straps in on a few kilts of mine, but that doesn't keep me from wanting more!
I think I'll ask for a solid kilt for Christmas.

Seven kilts and only four pairs of trousers. All the kilts fit great and they all get worn on a regular basis.

No such thing as "too many kilts."
And, nice to have a slight variety in sizes for variations in size over the year.
And, nice to have a variety of weights for different weather.
And, if the power goes out in the winter you can stack them up, lay under them, and stay snug and warm.
