USAKilts Hours?

oh crap... since we have a real shop, we're supposed to keep HOURS, aren't we!?!

Haven't really adopted official hours yet... I think we'll be open Friday, Sat and Sun through Xmas. Hours will be something like (call first to check):

Friday Noon to 9 PM
Sat 10 to 6
Sun 10 to 5

It's very difficult when you both Manufacture AND Have a retail store. When I'm out talking to people in the shop, they MAY buy something, but I'm not MAKING anything, so the backorder tends to creep up. This way, we can dedicate certain days to STRICTLY making kilts. Make sense?

My buddy opened a music store...his life's ambition...and finding people to work there is a constant problem...cause who do you end up hiring?...musicians! And what would they rather be doing than sitting behind your counter taking care of your customers? (Just about anything else...but practicing and tying up the phone with their own music business ar the first two things that come to mind.)

Just remember the words of Basil Fawlty on Fawlty Towers:

"This would be a nice hotel if it weren't for the bloody guests."

Rocky, makes perfect sense, but if you really get that much walk-in traffic, you will need to accept the backorders creeping up until you can justify more people. It really is a nice problem to have!

Rocky, you'll probably need to hire someone part time to man the shop so you can work. Heck, you could even train that person to pull fabric, pack orders and such when nothing else is going on.
