A sad commentary on the state of our public education system.
Sad indeed. I hope this update clears up some of the assumptions I had seen posted here previously.
The principal should be ashamed of his actions. As I have mentioned before, his unfairly restricting the rights of one student because of his misguided fear that others may act inapropriately is a prime example of the lack of true leadership in our schools today.

For all of you who have not looked at the signatures on the petition, take a close look at "Malcom" who has managed to sign the petition three times #715, 717 & 718. On his signature is a web link (copy & paste) that states that the kilt & tartan were never Scottish and were inventions by an angry Brit. His links are translations from a Latin paper that proposes that all of the known facts are simply lies and the Scots never had kilts or tartans until some romantic painter decided to paint them on instead of pants.
I wonder why Malcom didn't sign his last name?

Malcom is a long time web nutter. I run across him several times a year. Claims to be the last living decendent of Prince Charles Stewart and heir to the Scottish Throne. The Admin has already spotted him,,,,and removed him.

He can't have the throne. It's my Island.
'your island?'
'Scotland, yeah its mine'
(My favorite paraphrase from Braveheart)

Nathan's Photo
Nathan didn't know that a photographer was going to come take his pic to put on the net or anywhere. He had just gotten home from his workout after school & the whole thing took him off guard. He knew there was to be an interview but no one knew that pics were to be taken.
