I showed my wife the SW Black heavyweight, and she loves the tartan weave. I will be adding one to my closet ASAP.
Based on the positive comments here regarding SW, I'm more encouraged!
Though I need to go check out Rocky's new place!
So many kilts, so little space! (and not enough cash!)

Yes, unfortunately so, since my girth has not been that small for about 25 years!

I got the SW Black Heavyweight today. All I can say is WOW!! And that shadow weave is something to behold. I'll be wearing it tomorrow. Think I'll try it with a red polo, red hose, black flashes, and black shoes for starters. Delivery was 2 days. Barely had time to start jonesing.

As you can tell by owning one, the pictures don't do the Blacks justice. The Black H.W is the first Kilt I bought from Stillwater and I've never regreted it.

This will obviously be my favorite kilt, especially for cold weather. It's 6 F here this AM. Was standing outside on the back patio, and my legs were toasty warm. I think this kilt is going to make me a fan of the traditional, high on the waist kilts as well. It's great to have a variety - those that you can wear lower on the waist, as well as the more traditional high on the waist type.

Don't forget, Rocky and SWK offer two very distinct products and it would be difficult to honestly compare Rocky's kilts with that of SWK, as neither offers the same type and style as the other.
