    Stillwater Black Heavyweight

Well, I couldn't resist anymore, and just purchased the Stillwater Black Heavyweight. My addiction has become serious. I also purchased the country sporran from the Scottish Tartans Museum. At the same time I'm jonesing for a Royal Stewart SportKilt that is with the deilvery courier as I write this. Ordered the Royal Stewart with belt loops and sewn down pleats. The Stillwater will be my first traditional style kilt worn high on the waist.

I've become a fulltime kilt wearer since August. Wear them everywhere and don't care what anyone thinks - except for compliments of course.

I'm disabled and was waiting on an evelavtor at the medical clinic today. A pretty, young nurse came up and grabbed my right arm and said "your kilt looks fabulous." Not bad for a 59 year old guy walking with a cane, eh?

    Darrell,

Glad to hear that the addiction has hit! Congratulations on the new kilt and the attentions of the nurse.

I'm kilted and disabled too and I agree that kilts are great for us. And I get way more compliments now that I'm kilted than I ever did when trousered.

I showed my wife the SW Black heavyweight, and she loves the tartan weave. I will be adding one to my closet ASAP.

Based on the positive comments here regarding SW, I'm more encouraged!

Though I need to go check out Rocky's new place!

So many kilts, so little space! (and not enough cash!)

Yes, unfortunately so, since my girth has not been that small for about 25 years!

I got the SW Black Heavyweight today. All I can say is WOW!! And that shadow weave is something to behold. I'll be wearing it tomorrow. Think I'll try it with a red polo, red hose, black flashes, and black shoes for starters. Delivery was 2 days. Barely had time to start jonesing.

As you can tell by owning one, the pictures don't do the Blacks justice. The Black H.W is the first Kilt I bought from Stillwater and I've never regreted it.
