    Modern is nice but the Ancient has been my favorite of the Douglas tartans since I first saw it.

    It's tough being patient. I REALLY want a Douglas kilt. Well..not just one...one in each Douglas tartan. But I gotta lose a lot more of me before I will drop the coin for them. Thank heavens Stillwater is there to ease my kilt jones.

    The ancient really grows on you, the ancient blue in it is so lovely! But check out the Douglas grey ancient, very dignified tartan.
