    Looks better with socks up.

And... what you need all that wood for in Orange County?

Ok Iolaus, I just love the look of that kilt.

Since I want to compete in the highland games this year in a traditional, what model of Stillwater is that one?

I think that may be my first.

Nice look. I actually prefer the socks up - roll 'em over and make a cuff. Just my two cents worth - worth every penny. :-D

I like both looks. However I do agree with Dee, cuff those socks! Unless of course it is cold outside.

Or, push them the rest of the way down to your boot tops. Halfway down, like you have them in the first pic, sort of looks to me like they're just falling down. But that's just my opinion. In general, though, it looks great to me.

Sox up, definitely. Looks better than the rumpled sock look, IMO.

I'd pull the socks up, but I love Arrogant Bastard (and anything else Stone makes) so I'd keep the tee-shirt.

My bar has A. B. on tap. We had oak-aged A. B. on tap for a while too - what a delicious beer! We still have a magnum (3 litres) of oak-aged Arrogant Bastard for sale for $99. Any takers?

I vote for the socks up.
Have your wife wear the Santa hat. :-)

By the way, I didn't realize this tartan was black and gray. It looks brown and gray in the pictures on the Stillwater website.

    Ok, I'm back.

    Yaish, it's a Nightstalker kilt.

I choose to dress it up a bit. I had a medium dark gray turtleneck, under a dark gray long-sleeve button-up, socks up, with some casual suede lace-up ...uh...loafers?

There were some pictures taken; if I get copies, I'll post them.

BTW, the socks had a double fold-over already, but I folded them over one more time when I got there. Unfolded, they go up a couple of inches past my knees.

Oh, ...and no santa hat. ;)
