Too cool! Is there video?
Nice jacket, too. My wife saw your pic and told me that I need an Argyll jacket for the church Christmas party next year. Time to start shopping for fabric. 8)
Thanks again for the pic and the good chuckle I got out of imagining you Riverdancing your way back to your chair.

By Golly Rob, you clean up right nice! Good look, and it seems your wee bairn is pleased as well.

Looks good Rob. I guess I'll have to post my ensemble for my party this week.

There's a point...I found my daughter's kilt (more like a mini-skirt/kilt thingie, but to her, it's her kilt...I'm trying to talk her into letting me buy her another that's more kilt than mini but she's a notorious tightwad and doesn't want me to spend the money) on Ebay and there are TONS of similar stuff in kid's sizes all the time...you ought to find some "starter-kilts" for your girls and I'd bet they'd be right cheap. I bet that they'd get a kick out of it but how would your wife feel being surrounded by a kilted family? The obvious solution is that I hear that USA kilts is capable of making a mean woman's mini-kilt but that they don't advertise it much...I've offered (threatened) my wife with ordering her one but I'm getting that "wait until I've lost some weight" routine from her...oddly enough, guys, I'm seeing something quite like that in some of the threads I've read here lately...what's going on?
Best

Sorry guys, no video! At least, I don't think there is any video...
And I actually do have a kilt skirt for my older daughter (not the one in this picture). One of my co-workers is Irish and had bought here daughter a few. She has outgrown them and she passed them on to us. Her daughter and our oldest get along great. Have to see if I can get a pic the next time I have it on her. Both of my daughters wanted kilts after I started wearing them.
And thanks again for the positive comments. I was impressed with the way the whole outfit came together. The Argyll jacket was great. Really dressed up the whole outfit.

I was thinking more along the lines of you look great, but the cutie beside you steals the show!
...I pretty much expected that people would be less than enthusiastic about the tie (but I thought it matched nicely) but I have spent enough on kilts this year that there was really no money left over for a new tie that would be worn once or twice a year....
Now, you know that Christmas ties can be amoritized over many years. :-)
