Damn, I'm gay and I still fit the Retrosexual List! Now I'm really scared.

Well, my brother is also gay, but I'm not. The only thing I said to him is that it doesn't matter to me what does he do under blankets or wherever, and with whom,... the important fact for the rest of people (me included) is the person.

Of course, I have to say that I think the same about everybody,... I don't give a damn about what my neighbour, friend, uncle or whatever usually does under his blankets or wherever and with whom! It's just enough for me to look for a girl to be in the same situation!... live and let live!... kilted, of course!.

Ah!, just another detail... When I went to Glasgow and bought my black kilt, I also took a Royal Stuart for him,... he has never weared it, even in private!

I had to read the whole thread from the beggining to the end and drop some quotes as I was reading it, but, at last I have to say that I respect everybody. That doesn't mean that I like everybody, as I am not gay and I have never liked the "Queen of Seas" attitude at all, but I never also was very close to the "Macho Man" attitude. A man is just a man, and there's no need for more words to explain that condition!

This may be totally non-pc, but as I'm reading this post and seeing these horrid pictures, the song "Johnny Are You Queer" by Josie Cotton (Valley Girl soundtrack) cued up and started playing on my computer. And no, I didn't pick the song. I have Winamp set to play all my songs randomly. Coincidence? ;)

And I shall happily submit a staple in my medicine chest as the official after-shave (cologne?....get outta it!) of the Retrosexual: Old Spice.

...and the funny thing is that when I do splash some of it on, people invariably ask (with genuine curiosity), "What kind of cologne are you wearing?", and when you say, "Old Spice", they get this incredulous look on their faces.

I'm often asked what cologn I'm wearing by ladies. They say it smells sexy yet also reminds them of safe secure times at home. Invariably they're talking about the lingering odor of pipe smoke. When I mention that I wasn't wearing cologne but I had just finished a pipe I usually find out that they're grandfathers or great uncles smoked a pipe.
