Which is the correct way to wear a plaid?

I just received a plaid with its brooch, but I have no idea how to wear. I cannot find any drawing in Internet. Any help is appreciated. I have also a belt bucklets but not a belt. I wish to build one myself, but I do not know which is exactly the design. Can you help me?

P.S. I know how to wear the great kilt, but not the plaid above a normal modern kilt.
