The Red Scott tartan is predominantly red and green, with small white and black stripes, and the badge is a stag. And their motto is Amo - "I love". How perfect is that.
As far as a "perfect" Christmas Tartan, have you looked at the Livingston Tartan? It doesn't have the white but sure does come out great with the red and green, and minor black stripes.
