Have you considered adding a flannel lining. It has been discussed on the board before. You could probably search for "flannel lining" and find it. Someone even discussed a removable flannel lining. But I wouldn't want you to not make the second kilt.
Planning a second kilt...looks like the addicition has started. He's got it so bad, he's making them himself.
