Take care of yourself, I wish you a speedy recovery. I have experienced a very similar injury and can certainly identify with your situation.

Hamish, Truely sorry to hear of your predicament. Had that happen a few years ago and the pain pills helped a "little". Here's wishing you a speedy recovery and very Merry Christmas. BTW I self medicated with a good single malt and forgot about the pain pills. Not much different in the effects, but the malt tasted much better!

Here's hoping you have a speedy recovery Hamish. While you are obviously missed on the board, your health is a complete must. I hope you still enjoy the Christmas season and that the back problem is sort out soon.
