All the neighborhood kids know me, especially because I go out in my power chair to walk the dog and they love to play with my doggie. And their parents are all our friends. A couple of the parents have told me that their sons (ranging from 5th graders to high school kids) have asked if they can get a kilt too!
My favorite response was from a parent who actually went looking for one as a Christmas present for her young son (6th grade). After seeing the prices she told him that he'd have to wait until he was done growing. A kilt was too expensive to buy every year when he outgrew it!
Tom, I bet the kids really enjoyed all the costumes.
Phillip, there is a lot of growth room built into boys' kilts. They have hems for letting out, so they last longer than a parent might first think. But at her boy's age, she might be letting out that hem at a pretty good pace.
