There was a note on the website that stated that there were heavyweights available in sizes under 40 and that they didn't have time to do a proper webpage for them so if you were interested you could e-mail and they'd set you up. I guess that Jerry is taking a well deserved holiday rest and has a note that business will resume after the first of the year...he should be congratulated on actually celebrating the holiday(s)...more businesses should close for the occaision!

It's here :D
My new Stillwater heavyweight has arrived. 5 days from order to delivery. Jerry really has to work on that. ;)
O.K. here is the low down. It is pleated to the stripe, and the pattern is perfectly matched. The reverse pleat on the left is 6" deep, and the one on the right is 5 1/2" deep. The pleats are sewn down for 8", which is a couple inches more than I like, but that can be fixed. The straps are good quality leather, and the buckles are nice solid cast items. There is close to 8 yards of material in it, and 'heavyweight' is just what it is. After the first of the year I'll probably take it to a tailor and have a couple of trouser (excuse the word) type pockets added. Frankly, I do not see how he can make a kilt this good for as little as he sells them for.
Two thumbs up!

Yeah, Jerry kinda spoils you to everyone else who takes a bit longer.
Glad you're happy with your purchase. Thanks for the review.

Great... thanks for feeding the jones-ing beast that inhabits my body. Now I have another kilt to buy. That's okay, I'm getting used to sleeping on the couch and being ignored by the wife.
Glad to hear you're happy with the purchase. I've learned to expect nothing less from Stillwater. Thanks for the review.

Pictures man! :-) Where are the pictures? From what I saw on the website he is using a new wool supplier, I would love to see what what the differences are between the old and the new. Thanks.
