This is true, but we men have not had to endure the centuries of sexual discrimination, sexual harrasment, and mistreatment that women had to. For this, we tend to take it more in stride where as women still have to be on the defensive. Given that many women in the world (yes even Europe and North America) still make less wages than their male conterparts and are still treated differently, they maybe feel more of a need to prove themselves. Men have the advantage of just rolling with the punches. For fun, go with your wife, girlfriend, or female friend next time they are looking to buy a car or property. Watch who the sales may speaks directly too and who he is condesending to. It's too bad really.

Bear in mind this is just my opinion and no disrespect to either gender is meant.
