haha tie the pant legs around your shoulders, and wear them there.

    with the kilt, of course.

    Good luck!

    Exclamation

The insensitive cheeky bugger just came back and had the nerve to tell me I should think about other peoples' feelings. If I didn't need a ride to the airport I'd leave now.

    Wow.

    Just wow.

This guy obviously has no idea what the concept of hospitality is. You don't open the door to your house to someone then mock them.

    This is a 'friend'?

I hope your other friends are more friendly.

Something must be in his craw. Make the best of it while you're there.

Personally I'd politely tell him that he should think about your feelings and then call a cab.

I agree w/ Glassman: apologize for not thinking of his feelings, and take a cab or shuttle to an airport hotel for the night. Who knows? Maybe he'll see the irony in what you said. I don't have any friends who'd say something like that, although I *do* have a friend who still calls my kilt a skirt (of course, I call his Lederhosen a B&D costume).

Bryan...if you can't kid your friends who can you screw with?...

    Unhappy

Doing laundry now going to finish cleaning up and see how I feel. It never pays to run off half cocked. I might ask him to drop me off to the airport it's 45 miles away

Sounds just like something my mother-in-law would say. :-(

    That works for me!

Is your friend a jealous sort? Maybe he wants a kilt for himself.
