Thanks for the positive comments guys ... I have a few other non-celtic tats, but I still have lots of ideas, and more skin to go!
Tats are so damn addictive ;-)

I'll probably never get a tattoo myself, but I think that one looks great! And of course it's in the best tartan around. ;)

I do like the looks of that tat.
You and the artist should be proud.

Nice looking work. Three 8 hour sessions, huh? That's alot of sitting still time
I am trying to figure out how I can make my 9th trip (for 3 tattoos) to the chair without my wife noticing right away. Maybe if she goes out of town.............;-)
Personally I find the ink more addicting than the kilts.

Although I'm not fond of big tattoos...I think this is a piece of art

Nice piece. I don't have any tats now, but I know I want to get a small one when I finish hiking the Triple Crown (Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail). I'll probably get it on my ankle, or some other rather inconspicuous place.

I'm considering a tattoo of a flying squirrel, I have been raising and exhibiting them for about nine years. My online handle (Sciuropterus) is one of the Latin names for them, I have 5 flyers of the Glaucomys Volans variety, hope to get some g. Sabrinus next year.
Once I get a design I like, I will pin it on the wall and think about it. If I still like it after a year or so, I will take the plunge. I will probably get it on my lower leg, so it will show if I am wearing a kilt.

For those of you that are thinking about getting one tattoo, be aware that you may as well start trying to determine what your second design is going to be. Colin, you called it, the ink is very addictive.
