Kilted Meeting For Next August?

I'm waiting to see if Raphael and company have The Gathering part 2 in Van.
Bear said it was a hoot, couldn't make it myself.
A fiend from Alaska that I was in Ireland with last month wants to come down and explore the jewel on the west coast of BC, she's nuts too.

The Gathering was a hoot, but I don't think there are any plans for a second one in Vancouver any time soon. It kind of sounds like this meet up is the Gathering 2, given that it is taking place at the same time and is including kilted brothers from around the globe.

Of course should you ever feel the draw of BC, we do have our monthly kilt nights. So come on by.

Hey, I saw in other thread that next 1st of August will be the 260 anniversary of the banning of tartans,... don't you think it would be great to remember it at Culloden's moor?

This is just another excuse,... maybe the most important for us!

Indeed I shall. I'm planning and scheming to come up to the PNW around that time for misc. kiltage stuff (read: x marks tartan run #2). Alas I'm also scheduled to attack Scotland in April or early May. I'll try to leave things in some sort of order for the lads in August.

Ok guys, I just wanted to keep an eye on who can be found or contacted over Scotland in summer, so, I started including in the calendar my days of trip. As you can see I'll be there from the 31st. of July till the 14th. of August, and these are definite dates.

I think it would be nice if we all could include our own visit days there, and then try to make somewhat a decent gathering over there,... we can meet as it was said first at Drumnadrochit, or on some highland games (in my case I'll try to go to the ones on Skye on the 9th of august),... but first we need to know when are we going to have the chance, ok?

I included that info in the calendar as it can be a good way for all of us to check fastly who can we find on our same dates, ok?
