Indeed, lovely story and pics! I long for the day I can talk my wife into doing something like that. I have a hard enough time getting her to walk to the store with me that's just 1/4 mile away. A 2 hour walk over the hills would be unthinkable to her.

But then again, so was camping and I've finally convinced her to try that once the weather warms up.

Looks like a great way to burn off a few of the Christmas chocs! Looks great Derek - but I'm not used to not seeing the yellow yet! Happy New Year to you both - and to the rest of the X-marks Clan,

Sounds like a great day! Thanks for reminding me to "slow down and smell the roses". My wife and I like to go out for long walks too, but somehow a busy life sometimes makes me "forget" to take time to do it. Great pictures too!

    Agreement

    Derek
Couldn't agree more. I've been more disappointed when I didn't wear a kilt. The few negative comments I've gotten have been the result of people's immaturity, ignorance or fear. If you want to wear a kilt, wear one.

Great pictures! Wales looks a lot like it does around here in Colorado when it snows. Makes me feel like going in a hike.

    Great pics Derek!

I like hikes like that as well, sounds great.

JerMc - My father in law has had knee replacement surgery multiple times, (last time was just a few months ago) and at 75 he gets around fine. With the rehab and the titanium joints they use now it allows good movement and quick recovery (relative to the person of course!).
