We've adjusted (and sold) several kilted skirts with the pleats and aprons going the same direction as a Man's kilt. We've had kilted skirts with the pleats going the opposite direction, but the aprons are the same directions as men's... we've had both the apron and pleats going the opposite direction.
If you need something for your woman, please drop me a line (or call me at the shop) and we'll set her up with something she'll like!
Let me chime in here for my Mrs. Early on, don't even know if Rocky remembers, I ordered a kilted skirt in my family tartan for her. Had it done in the casual style, velcro not straps and long, 32 inches, almost like a hostess skirt. Hits her just below mid-calf, yep she's a tall one. It is kilted in the same manner as a man's and has the left over right apron. She wore it out to dinner last night, got lots of looks. She also wears it to work with the same result.
Just asked her to make a comment about it and she said "I love it. It always gets a lot of attention when I wear it. Everyone seems to like it."
Another vote for Rocky and Kelly! May have to get her another one soon but not before mine.

I must confess that after receiving our Robertson Reds for Christmas, I'm very interested in one for the Mrs.!
How much, approx. would it be?

Depends... if she wants a "long casual", it'll be about $160. If she wants a true "Kilted Skirt" (in PV) it'll be about $170.

Both are excellent deals.
I think I'm going to have to get one for the wife.
She's the queen of the clan, after all!
