Welcome aboard, Phil! I've spent time in your city, as well as Spokane, going to various hot rod events. Haven't been down that way for a few years, though. My wife and I really need to go down there again, it's one of the most beautiful areas we've ever been in.

Al G.
Did you ever meet my father in law Harvey Dougall at one of the hot rod events down here or up in Canada?

I'm not sure, I'm terrible with names. What did/does he drive? I've been out of the scene for a few years now. The last time I was in CdL was in 2001 for Von Dago's Fun Run. The Spokane events I went to were when the NSRA had their show there. There's pics of my cars on my website.

Welcome Phil,
That neck of the woods can always use some more kilts.
My family came to Virginia City, MT in the 1860s and wound up in Missoula. My dad drove over to Spokane to enlist in the Royal Air Force.
I remember Idaho as the place the roads were so windy that I got car sick as a 6 year old.

Phil,
Welcome from a western neighbor. The only outdoor time I spent in Idaho was outside of Stanley. Definitely God's Country! Good advice and information here and a heck of a nice group of folks if I do say so myself!

Few years, eh? Must be in dog years... Especially since it was only about 10 months since the last time ya headed north on 95 from I-90.
Oh, btw, Phil, welcome to the group from another northwesterner... Hope to get back on the east side of the mountains before it gets too warm (no AC in my car).
