Belt Buckles

Heath, a kilt buckle has a wide, flat hook that catches the metal loop on the end of the belt. It isn't at all suitable for the holes in a leather belt. First, the holes would need to be changed to rather wide slots and the hook on the buckle would have to be altered to a shallower angle.

I guess that answers the question. I'd need to stick to the Western style buckle with the prong hook.
