What a wonderful resource
I’m glad that resources like Matt keep giving of their time and knowledge. I’ll lift one to Matt this Hogmanay. By the way, what a wonderful tartan, Owl of Oban.

Here is the tiled version, to show more than just one sett square.
Yes, Sherry, jonesing is hardly the word. It will be 6 months before I actually have the kilt, with weaving time and then kilt waiting time....but the family has waited 300 years for a tartan, so I suppose I can wait 6 months...

Very Nice Indeed, I like the Red and Blue Mix and the stark White stripe in there, I am a sucker for a Pattern that lends itself to being pleated to the stripe .

John,
That is an excellent looking tartan. You and Matt have done well. I would like to see the final kilted product. I'm going through the same process with Matt, so I'm very interested in your progress. Please, keep us posted if you don't mind.

Aggie, I will certainly keep the board up to date on the project. However, with weaving queues being what they are, I don't expect to see the first trial run of the tartan until late February earliest and probably March. After that it will be another 9 weeks to get the production run for all the kilts, sashes, plaids, etc that have been requested. Safe to say, I won't be in a Breeden tartan kilt before June....
Let us know how your project is going. I had a blast coming up with a tartan representation of the family history. Great fun!
Oh, and Hook 'em Horns.

John, that is a great looking tartan. Please post some pics when you get your kilt. You must be going through some serious jonesing, but it will be well worth the wait.
