I sense a great idea emerging...nice its already been shown to work well.

Thumbs up That'd be swell ...

For those of us that are " heckier" (where'd you get that word?) from Scotland and won't be able to attend the Meet-Up, I think Steve has the best offer so far. The Island is Beautiful, the Butchart Gardens would be a good event as would Afternnon Tea at the Fairmont Empress.
Steve and Barb as teachers? Waaay cool !
Get to the planning and scheming.

CT - the week of Sept. 19th would be ok with me ...

Hmmm... Kilt Kamp at Freedom Kilts in Victoria, with Steve Ashton and Barbara Tewksbury as teachers (or counselors, so that GMan gets into his bunk on time)?

Hmm, Hmm, Hmm.... I would be AWFULLY tempted to attend. I'm gonna do a little bit of research, here...will report back.

I'm definitely interested to see if this gets off the ground. If it does, I might be interested in attending.

    This is an awesome idea.

Being on the East Coast and in that mindset, I wonder if the Tartan Museum in the mountains of NC would be a place that could host this?

It sounds like a real good idea. Keep us informed on how it develops.

OK, so I could do this for $500- $600, which is one EXPENSIVE kilt, but it would sure be fun.

I've got to stop hanging around here. You guys are costing me plenty. First it was kilts, then kilt hose, then an Argyll jacket, then I tasted Laphroaig. Now it's Kilt Camp. I'm going to have to moonlight my moonlighting! Just say no, just say no, just say no, just say.............

Hmmm. I've always wanted to visit BC. "Hey dear, let's go visit Victoria! We can see the gardens (Mwu-haa haa) "

Two thoughts, I rely on your collective honor to remember that these were my suggestions.
    1) Adam could produce the CD there as well. Everyone would have a great digital scrapbook to go along with their kilt. Additional copies could be sold, bartered, given away or whatever.
    2) You'll need an example kilt, teachers book so to speak. I have a solution, make my next trad! I will graciously provide my measurements and show off the final product!
    Not bad huh?
