I made my own. I found a leather leash and dog collar at the pet store with the needed length and materials. All I did was take the buckle off the collar and put it on the leash. Bingo!... sporran strap! or should that be Wooof!

I've been researching this since I have to scare up more than one strap.

Looking at the leather companies, i found this one:

    http://www.eleathersupply.com/

Under belts/straps they have both black and brown leather straps that are anywhere from 1/2 inch to 2 1/2 inches wide and 60 inches long...under buckles they have utility buckles that are very plain and inexpensive and they have the fasteners and setting tools to rivet them together. Seems like a worthwhile project to me and I'll order the stuff necessary to knock up a couple of straps and it looks like it'll be less than 25 bucks. The leather belts come up to 2 1/2 inches wide, so if I get brave, I might take a shot at doing a belt as well.

Come to think of it, I remember seeing some all leather straps at the Hector Russel shop in San Francisco. I'll have to give them a call to see about getting one.

Their store at 95, Princes Street, Edinburgh [tel: +44.(0)131. 225.3315] keeps them Phil. Price roughly £7.00. Not the best quality leather but perfectly acceptable.
