The belt loops are good quality leather and available in black and brown. It has become my favorite way of wearing my sporran.

A bought a similar pair of straps from Stillwater not too long ago. When I'm going to be riding in my wheelchair for a long distance that tends to be the way I wear my sporran as well. However, I find that the chains are a bit long and make the sporran hang much lower than I usually allow.
