I will be sure to post some photos as soon as possible.

I plan to wear it to Burns Nicht. The BlackWatch I made is nice but its kinda like women and their dresses. You gotta wear the new one to the party :-)

Wow. I really like that tartan. hmmmmm. Wonder if I can fabricate a connection to the MacLeod clan??

BTW, the kilt Matt made for me came in not long before Christmas -- You're gonna LOVE that kilt!

Matt and some of the others will be along shortly to tell you that you do not need a clan affiliation to wear a particular tartan.

    I agree.

I have the affiliation with McLeod and McGregor. Now I am going to order McGregor as soon as the money is available.

I know all the arguments and where they came from (learned all that here) but still for me I prefer to have some historic connection to the tartan's I wear. Still, I'm a Systems Analyst so I can usually come up with something.

USNDoc, great news! Don't you love when something that looks like spam turns out to be somrthing good?

And not to detract from your excitement, but when I got home today I had a notice from the USPS that they were holding a package for me from Great Britain. This has to be the eBay kilt I won back in Nov.! I was wondering if I would ever see it. I can't wait to pick it up, and should be able to do so on the way to the airport tomorrow morning. If not, I will have to wait all weekend!

Over a month to ship a kilt via USPS? I've bought several kilts on E-Bay that were shipped USPS from Britain and the longest wait was 6 days.
