Nope, I wash it cold regular cycle. It only needs to be damp.

Congrats, you have a very fine kilt, I know because I have one of the same. Stewart Hunting is a favourite of mine, recently I was travelling interstate when a woman saw me and named the tartan I was wearing (SH) and said it was her Daddy's kilt. I had to tell her she couldn't have it back (joke).

Mine is at the dry cleaners right now, I do that maybe once or twice a year just to freshen it up.

For the record... you should NOT dry clean PV. The chemicals in the cleaning process take the Teflon coating off of the material. Also, do not use FABRIC SOFTENER when washing PV... same reason.
