My friend and I have been wearing our kilts (he has a UK but is not a member of Xmarks...) to see The Fenians at Muldoons in Newport whenever they play. We (or at least I ...) will be there when Skelpin (a really good irish band from Sandy Eggo) plays next month. Forgive me for the brain fade as I saw the poster last evening but alas, have forgotten the date. CT.
I havent heard either band, but it sounds like something doable to me. Pop a reminder as the date gets closer and we can work out a kilt night.

Currently, Skelpin is scheduled at Muldoons at 2pm on Sunday January 15th. Maybe that is enough notice to make plans.
I'll be wearing a Clan Inebriated shirt, not sure which kilt though but I'll be there. Skelpin was pretty darned good, that girl Patric sure has some hip sway goin' on. I had dancing girl Shannon Gibson at my table and an older gent was wearing the MacCloed hunting tartan. CT
What time are they playing? (yeah, I'm probably going to look it up right after I post this anyway) I am helping a friend move that morning, but hopefully I can convince a few others to attend the show (and make it myself).
