Guys, I need some input here for Kilt Kamp.

For Dr. Barb, the best time is the week of 5 June. That is wonderfull kilt wearing time here in Victoria. Thoughts?????

For those of you seriously thinking of attending, what would you like to see and do. I for one, do not feel comfortable teaching a "Make you own Freedom Kilt" class. Without a non-compitition aggrement that would be shooting myself in the foot. I would however be willing to teach a course in contemporary kiltmaking. (What makes a good looking and wearing kilt, What should you look for in a kilt, what to look out for etc.)

I also think it would be neat if the attendees brought as many kilts from as many kiltmakers as is possible. This would give everyone the chance to compare them side-by-side. Perhaps even approach some makers to loan us one of their kilts.(HINT, HINT MATT.)

I would also like everyone to have a chance to do the tourist things that this city is famous for. Our world class Royal BC Museum, the Butchart Gardens, Whale watching, etc.

I would also like to host a dinner and kilt night as part of the course fee. We have some fine restaraunts and some pretty good local celtic bands.

Ideas, ideas, ideas. Throw them into the hat and let's make this THE event of the year.
