    It don't matter...there are gonna be LOTS of kilts in your life ;)

    I've never plunked down for a Stillwater because of the one length deal, just doesn't work for me.

    I have kilts from nine different kiltmakers now...all willing to make kilts to fit me lengthwise as well as longitudinally (if that's a word...)

    So make your wish list and triage it from your heart with a peek at your wallet, then dive in.

    well, heres what i think, yeah there will be alot of diff kilts in my life, but i expect to have them all till i die and maybe beyond that. so i want to buy as nice as i can afford, no question a stillwater is un my future, and im sure a canvas kilt is too. thanks to all that gave some input, since being a member of this board, though i always dont agree with whats said here, i do respect your kilt wearing experiences and advice, you all have opened my eyes a bit..i'm able to see the kilt in a comtemporary fashion now

    If you like the traditional style for cilts, then you can't go wrong with Stillwater. My second cilt was a 'Nightstalker' standard, and it's a good looking cilt. But buy a cilt that suits you, not one you'll think everyone else would like.
