We won in every aspect. Not only an apology but a change in the dress code policy and the school faculty has go through cultural training in order to recognize cultural attire. So it's a win all the way around.
Fantastic! Congratulations! I thought you would NEVER hear an apology.. I'm glad I was wrong.

Kilted in Detroit! Now that's tough.... LOL
Huzzah! Outstanding, prima, toll klass, reisig, and any other superlatives you care to add!
And I will echo Glassman's offer, what is our young (but determined) young Scotsman missing from his ensemble. And on a related note, what is his kilt waist size (not that I think he will fill one of the kilts I find too large, but you never know)?
The kilt concealed a blaster strapped to his thigh. Lazarus Long

This is indeed wonderful news! I'm sure many school officials across the country were waiting to see the outcome of this event. As a result, this may cause many schools to review their dress codes.
This is a victory for all men who choose to wear the kilt. And of course, special congratulations to Nathan and his parents!

I hope that Nathan wears his kilt as often as possible now. He deserves to do just that. And, the principal? He should be forced to dress up as a clown for the rest of the school year. Let him become a distraction.
