    Even mediocre tartans (there are a few) can look great when sewn into a kilt. But Nice tartan just look even nicer!

    Robin, That MacLaren tartan is really sharp. Somehow I think there will be more than 4 kilts in your future. Maybe when there is a zero after that 4?

    Thanks for the suggestions on hose colors it gives me a lot of options. Muir is my grandfathers name he came to this country in the 1890s and died during the spanish flu epidemic of 1918. I'm realy looking forward to getting this kilt,

    Prior to this one I have a a great kilt and a home made wee kilt that I use for reenacting.

    This will be the first one I've had made. but from reading this web site I guess it won't be my last.

    I really like your Tartan, should make into one great looking kilt.
