to pad message counts?
Just kidding Alan. Some of these make my peeve list. The lunch one is one of my favorites and I am lucky to be reporting to someone who feels the same. A large number of my people and my peers and their people often sit together for lunch in the corporate cafeteria, and my manager almost always joins us. The conversation covers everything BUT work, from Lost to the new Camaro to male female relationships. It is great, and a great recharge for the rest of the afternoon.

KCW, any more multiple posts for a single sentence and you will become the newest member of the Needs Moderated Usergroup.
Everyone was beefing about slow response times, so we have been trying to streamline the database, to accommodate you. And then people want to convey a single sentence across 4-6 separate posts?!? Enough is enough.
Users in Needs Moderated will be able to submit posts, but the posts are submitted to a moderation queue, where they will have to be reviewed and approved by a moderator, before they will appear on the open forum. Those users will lose several other member privileges, such as changing avatars, using signature files and accessing the Private Message system.
Anybody want to give that Usergroup a go?

I have two things that really annoy me:
1.Homeowners who pay $250,000+ on a new house and want a first rate landscape done for around $2,000.
2. Having to redo shoddy work done by other contractors. Electrical work around ponds and waterfalls is high on this list.

People who expect home cooked quality at McDonald's speed.
People who don't listen.
People who can't accept the fact that others may disagree with them.

I try to be a nice person, but there are some things that I just hate too.
- Bad drivers who think that they can multi-task while swerving all over the entire road. Some are talking on cell phones, and that's annoying. But I've seen people eating, putting on make-up (and using the rear-view mirror as a make-up mirror), and more. But the absolute worst was a guy who was driving but then had the Washington Post open and sitting on top of his wheel. He was reading the paper while driving! And he had almost the entire windshield covered with the paper.
 - Annoying folk who ask to sit in the smoking section at restaurants because they can get a table faster and then have the nerve to ask someone who is smoking in the smoking section to stop because it bothers them. If you didn't want the smoke, then wait with everyone else for a table.
- People who can walk and have no physical handicap but who make a bee-line for the handicapped stall, even if all the other stalls are available. If someone is in a wheelchair, that's the only stall that person can use. The handicapped stall is roomier so that we can fit wheelchairs in there, not so some lard a** can stretch out while moving his/her bowels.
 - Physically able people who park in a handicapped spot illegally because "they'll only be inside for a minute" even though there are spaces available in the regular lot. I don't care if a person is busy, they can spend the extra minute to walk down a parking lot - BECAUSE THEY CAN WALK! I can't tell you how many times I've had to either wait with my car running for one of those idiots to come outside or simply not go to the business at all because I simply can't walk that extra distance.
 - Parents of completely spoiled, obnoxious children who still take them out in public. I don't care how cute you think you're child is, I don't want them climbing onto my table and messing with my food. When I was a child I was expected to sit there, eat the food in front of me, keep my mouth shut and not do anything that might be embarassing. And if I did, oh the paddling I'd get. Sometimes I wish restaurants were divided into "Childen's" and "Childless" seating.
- Businesses that say they are handicapped accessible but when you get there they have several steps at the front door. The minute there's a single step, it's not handicapped accessible. No matter how much I wish they would, no one makes a wheelchair with tank treads.
- Idiotic middle-class and upper-class kids who try to dress, talk and act ghetto. These fools never experienced want or sacrifice their entire lives. If they really want to be ghetto, I say let them go live in a slum while being unemployed and while we're at it, let's give them four or five children to feed and clothe too. Then they can start talking about how ghetto they are.
Whew, I'll stop ranting now.

Don't worry about the idiots with the bass blasting music in their cars, it's a self correcting problem. In a month they'll be picking screws up off the floor, in 6 months the doors will be loose and the windshield will start to leak around the edges and after 9 months the fenders will start to flap like hummingbird wings.

My turn!
The entitlement attitude.
1) Employees who fail to reach ANY of their individual goals and are mad because they didn't get a bonus & a raise!
2) People who will not take an entry level job at $10 an hour because they can do better on the dole.
3) Un employed college grads who will not take a job for less than $50,000, but are happy to live in moms house and cry about it.
I have more but I think it best to get up and pour a drink and chill

yep!
You must be clairvoyant or be legitimately annoyed by people who do this, as I am.

Idiots that hang in the left lane and drive the same speed as the right lane. The left lane is for passing, not sightseeing.
