			Things I hate

					1. cell phones
even though I have two of them

 2. Instant Messenger (Yahoo or AOL or ICQ)

Isn't e-mail fast enough? I answer 60 bloody e-mails a freakin' day. My boss has been after me to install YIM. I've resisted. I'll resist until I get fired over the bloody issue. Enough is enough.

 3. Breakfast meetings for work

I quit a job once because I was required to attend a couple of breakfast meetings. Look I'll get to work at 7:30 if I *HAVE* to. I will work many hours. I will work 60 hours weeks (on the short term) if I have to....

But I am NOT eating my blinkin' BREAKFAST with that rat-ugly bunch of malcontents that I have to see between 8 - 12 hours during the day. Forget it.

 Hullo!

I would have to add working lunches to that. OK, if an emergency comes up that has to settled before that afternoon, but that's it. Even if I take my lunch at my desk, it doesn't mean I want to work. Lunches are MY time and are supposed to be a break from work.

Mushrooms. I mean, they're fungus, right?
Athlete's foot is fungus. Jock itch is fungus. It is my position that, if fungus was food, we would not have medicines to get rid of it.

I always try to avoid mushrooms, but, occasionally in a restaurant I'll get mushrooms in a dish where I did not expect them. When the waitress asks if I need anything else, I say, "Yes. I'd like another beer and some tough-actin' Tinactin!"

In case you're wondering, I did, indeed create that rant. I have used it often and polished it over the years.
