I'm with Schultz! Just a bachelor living alone, except when my lady is over for a visit. I proudly live as I was born whenever I can.
No need for a sporran at home, even if kilted for company.
I'm still working on getting used to the sporran concept...prefer pockets. Even when working with the fire dept. on the crisis wagons they gave us fanny packs to wear...never got used to them. No clue why, they're just weird.
Usually only wear sporrans out and about with tartan kilts.
For some reason, I don't much mind the cloth "sporrans" that come with my AKs and PKs...maybe because they're wider and easier to access.
Something about stuffing my hand in a narrow opening sporran makes me feel like I'm stuffing a chicken or something...

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
