I'll be looking forward to these as well. Additionally, I to would like to see them made avalible in leather, as I know it would get a lot more use (not really a fan of nylon belts for my kilts and I do rather like my gear to match).

As some who's more into the contemporary styles of kilts, I gotta say:
I need one of these.

It would never do for wearing to a Burns Night, but then, a formal sporran would never do for wearing to the highland games, either. (Though there are those who do, shudder.)
There are places for ballistic nylon. Leather does not take well to getting soaked, as in a sudden rain or when you sweat through your kilt on a hot sunny day. I'm going to be getting one of these as soon as they're available, even though I _never_ wear non-trad kilts.

I think they look interesting... I'd like to see one live first before buying.
My big issue with fanny packs is that they remind me of "It's Pat" on Saturday Night Live. He/She is right up there with In Living Color's Fire Marshal Bill as far as "most disturbing skit characters" go, IMHO.

This is an answer to “were do I put my gun off duty ” while being kilted. I have been looking for something that looks good and not stupid that can carry off duty gear :-D . I’ll be getting 2 of them (the wife will want one as well ).
