I too caught this programme quite by accident, and missed just the first five minutes or so. I wished I had been able to tape it but I cannot get my VHS machine to work since I connected a FreeView box (very poor FreeView reception here much of the time anyway!!).
It was a superb documentary and, as has been stated, showed these two very ordinary chaps wearing their kilts from very casually to semi-formally in a number of different locations. They were entirely natural and spontaneous and could have done quite a lot to open the eyes of those who scoff at every-day kilt wearing.
By the way, I am pretty sure that the plain blue kilt was in denim. It appeared to be virtually identical to the one I have from KiltStore.net.
Congratulations BBC!
