Does anyone know of a Kilt Night in the Baltimore/Carroll County area?

    Hey Frank,

we don't get down to B-more as much as I'd like... the last kilt night down there was the "Charm City Saints" show. It's tough when you're working 7 days a week and the days you DO get off are filled with Laundry and yardwork. It's also a bit of a hike to do back to Philly while "slightly enibriated". If you're up for a raod trip and a hotel stay, you can GLADLY come up here and hang out at one of OUR kilt nights!

I think Barleyjuice does gigs in Baltimore from time to time, which means you'll at least have the whole band kilted, and probably some of the fans that inevitably show up at their gigs. You might want to PM Jimmy Carbomb and ask about that but my understanding was that Barleyjuice is recording their next album and wouldn't be doing any live shows for awhile (I could be way off... I had more than a few beers in me when I was told that).

Barleyjuice does indeed play Baltimore every once in a while. My Partner has just taken a job in Balitmore that starts in July. We will be in the er...."unenviable" position of owning a home in Reston, VA and renting one in Baltimore. The good thing about that is that we will be able to participate in Baltimore kilt nights. Now if I could just get him to wear the kilt!

Don't you guys mean "Ball-mer"? At least that's how I thought it was spelled when I lived there.

    Kilt night in County Carroll

I'm going down to O'Lourdan's pub in Westminster to talk to the manager about starting a kilt night there. Will let you know what happens.

Yeah, let us know. Westminster isn't that far and I could run over there from time to time!
