    Did the very same thing at a pub in St Louis, and you're right about the cost and the taste! I was just looking at my empty container of 10-year...now I know why I hung on to it. I've had my eye on a bottle of 15 year! A call goes out to all Johnston(e)s to "help preserve" our ancient brethren's water supply!

    If you folks ever plan to go and visit your sq foot of scottish Islay,pls dont forget your scubagear *s*

    aug 30 2005 i went there and walked the holy land but when i wanted to visit my plot it was stop becouse nobody told med to bring divinggear :-)

    Quite agree the 1/4 cask is superb. By the way if you visit the distillery you can claim your rent for your land - a minature bottle of 10 year old.
