Alternative to kilt pins

Patches I've thought about. There are minimum orders to consider though and I can't afford to pop over $100 on it. There are some good sources on line that make embroidered patches.

Don't forget to peruse Steve's (FK) post. He now has an embroidery machine and is making his own patches in house. The post above mentions a price of about $35 for one.

It would be easy to attach a patch a thin piece of acetate to stiffen it.Maybe a thin piece of felt to cover it.Then put on a pin and your set.
