I will polish up my griddle and turn out a few items of 'oat cusine' to mark the event - 'my' area of Yorkshire shares the use of oats in cooking with more Northerly climes - no idea why that should be but the oatcakes and short breads, the parkin (a sticky ginger cake) and herring fried in rolled oats - all good stuff.

Yep, I spoke with Hugh at the store and he said that they would be at the Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central. I haven't scheduled an appointment with them yet and they didn't ask me when I spoke and emailed with them about their attendance at the event. That TFCK Black and White Pinstripe is sweet!!!
