A Wee Dram
Had a day out on the 'plane to Islay last summer and here is a picture I took of Bowmore distillery. There are several distilleries on the island. Islay malts are smokier in flavour because of the peat content in the soil through which the water has flowed on its way to the distillery and because of this some people find Islay malts laxative.

We are working on some McClelland "Highland" at my house. I have a bottle of Glenlivet 12 in reserve that was a gift from one of my employees who is also a single malt fan, he felt I needed to try it. The Glenlivet is good and smooth, definitely one of the best I have tried.
Still have some of the Dalmore in reserve as well, I'll have to to invest in some thing different this weekend, I've got to get my stock built up. I haven't decided what it wil be yet, I am open to suggestions.
