I think Hank said last time that it was such a hassle that someone else would have to do it if it was going to happen again.

Speaking of kilt pins, the X-Marks pin could be embroiderd on a patch. It could be pinned on rather than sewn or glued and worn on any thing. This has came up before.

I did it, I ordered a ball cap, Royal Blue. It has Clan XMARKS on the front and xmarksthescot.com on the back. I'll wear it at the northern Va Highland games in Leesburg this coming June. It was a bit expensive, but then, I paid over 20 dollars for a Guinness hat at the same festival last year because my scalp was getting sunburned.

Why not just a simple logo like...."XMarks" and below that "The Clan". No copyright infringements and should be simple to produce. Just a thought

Maybe an patch version of the XMark pin. 1.5-2" .That could be worn as one likes- hat, sporran, shirt, attached to belt etc. The blue field and white cross may not stand out at Scottish events. A prominent X to be visible. this way can be transfered to whatever outfit is being worn.
Or just print out the logo and pin to shirt

Ok,
sorry my computer does not have a picture editor. Ok how about we buy the t-shirt that says XMARKS The Scot. Add in black laundry marker under the symbol, DOT COM . Or, write .com (dot com) int eh white area on the X.
the t-shirt $15.00, Black Laundry marker $2.47 , meeting other xmarkthescot members PRICELESS...

I guess I should have piped in alittle earlier on this one. I dont like the idea of using the word "clan" in the name. I just think it sounds weird.
The deal is that we cant use the Saltire with the words "marks the Scot." It doesnt matter if it is a registered copyright or not. I told the guys I wouldnt do it on t-shirts. I am a man of my word.
I guess anything else is a go though. So have at it.

So, using an "X" instead of a representation of the Saltire is cool?

Instead of wearing a t-shirt with a big logo, how about putting the the logo on a pair of blue flashes?
